I've been searching high and low for abandoned rice paddies in San Francisco, but had no luck. I finally found it, at the Janzen's own backyard! It's been two beautiful evenings, watching the moon rise at night.
Not to forget our little company, Zoe. She's tiny, she could fit into your palms. She's started to sleep on the edge of our bed on the first night, to sleeping on my feet (feels like a warm and heavy jell-o that pokes and bites my feet whenever I move it), and to suddenly spreading out in the middle of the bed. I always need to wake up and look where she's at before I try to switch my sleeping position. I'm deprived from 2 nights of sleep.
